Croda is a world leader in natural based speciality chemicals which are sold to virtually every type of industry. The company has approximately 3500 employees, working in 35 countries.

Activities can be broadly classified into two sectors:

Consumer Care which consists of global businesses in personal care, health care and crop care - all markets have an increasing need for innovation and sustainable ingredients.

Industrial Specialities which comprises home care, base oleochemicals, additives for polymers, polymers and coatings, lubricants and lubricant additives, and processed vegetable oil.

Brief:
To help Croda present a consistent global image across multiple communication mediums to the personal care, home care & health care consumer markets.

Solution:
Produce Global Branding Guidelines designed to facilitate the efficient implementation of global launches and enable regional marketing collateral to be adopted globally and consistently.

Imagery was important to the success of this design style and is critical that images used should deliver individuality, impact and recognition. The image should also be used to clearly communicate the key selling point(s) of the promotion or product. Colour is used to emphasize the key selling point of the product/promotion through the design. This was achieved by selecting an accent colour which matches the key element of the image.
